CONTRACTS

Having ridden out the recession, Concept are now delighted to see a growth in orders, and new clients. Our aim for 2010 is to continue improving the services we offer, recruit more staff and acquire ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO17025 Laboratory Testing accreditation.

Lots Road - Concept have recently been awarded Phase II and III contracts as Principal Contractors for the Lots Road Power Station redevelopment, and we are currently mobilising to site. The works will include further investigations of the ground and existing structures.

A21, Kipping Cross - Having successfully completed the first phase of works for the Highways Agency, comprising cable percussion, rotary drilling and trial pitting works along a 5Km stretch of the A21 in Kent, Concept are now in the process of drilling further rorary boreholes and installing inclinometers across a landslide.

SOCIAL

After a fantastic Christmas party at Syon Park (From Russia with Love), last year, Concept is returning for another go this Christmas. Lets just go easy on the shots this year!

STAFFING

We are glad to welcome Darren back, who is now training as a laboratory technician. We also welcome Johan Van Staveren, who has recently joined us as a Senior Engineer and Paula Mack as the Office Manager. It's goodbye from Jason Waldron, who has decided to migrate back to Australia (for the winter) but promised to come back next year. We are very sorry to see Nada Pavlovic leave as she's been with us for the last 4 years! She promised regular visits.
