RUSKIN SQUARE - EAST CROYDON (2013)

Concept was the Principal Contractor during the investigation phase of this presigeous £500M residential development in East Croydon.  As part of the investigation a 400mm wide 30m depth borehole was installed in the  Thanet Sand  to facilitate vibration monitoring.

 

BSkyB REDEVELOPMENT (2012) – Investigation Cost £150K

Client: BskyB  Engineer Arup 

Geotechnical  investigation for the construction of a new unit in their West London campus.  The investigation involved cable percussion boring fully shored man entry trial pits to 3.5m depth, parallel seismic testing, sokaway testing dynamic cone penetration testing.

LOTS ROAD (2008 – 2010) Investigation Value £800K

Concept was the Principal Contractor for all the phases of the investigation for this Controversial Development of the disused warehouse  set along the banks of Thames  in Chelsea.  The investigation span for over 2 years during which Concept  organised the security of the site. 

The works amongst others included coring through  12m thick concrete slabs and  the Thames brick perimeter wall  and  investigations of the Thames river bed from the top of a pontoon.
